Hidden History of New Haven Featured at Henry Carter Hull Library
Hidden History of New Haven will be featured on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 6 p.m., the Henry Carter Hull Library, 10 Killingworth Turnkpike, Clinton.
The book discussion will explore what makes New Haven one of Connecticut’s most historic and fascinating cities. The location is home to America’s first woman dentist, an architect who designed the Twin Towers, the first African American to receive a Ph.D. degree, the man who gave most of the dinosaurs their names, and more.
Authors Robert and Kathleen Hubbard will reveal these and many other unforgettable stories in the recently published book, Hidden History of New Haven, which will be available for purchase (cash or check only) and signing at this free event.
