Annual Holiday Exhibit Displayed at Maple and Main Gallery in Chester
The opening reception for the eighth annual Holiday Exhibit at Maple and Main Gallery, One Maple Street, Chester, is Saturday, Nov. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. with wine, appetizers, desserts, and music by artist/musician Alan James.
Works on display will include luminous landscapes, abstract collages, and scenes from the creators’ rich imaginations. The show features more than 200 paintings and sculptures by 56 established artists from all corners of Connecticut.
There will be dozens of small works and unframed original art on display for affordable gift-giving as well as gift certificates.
In Maple and Main’s Stone Gallery during November, there is a solo show of marine art by gallery artist Peter Barrett, and during December, the annual show of gallery artist Janine Robertson’s paintings.
The Holiday Exhibit runs through Sunday, Jan. 21.
