The Clinton Art Gallery at 20 East Main Street offers a six-week workshop, “Exploring Abstract Art,” led by Ralph Levesque, beginning with a lecture on Monday, June 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. The practical application portion of the course will be at the artist’s Equilibrium Gallery and Studio, 11 Lake Avenue, Higganum.

Levesque has more than 35 years’ experience teaching, and his award-winning works have appeared in galleries throughout Connecticut. During the workshop, students will explore the history, ideas, and practice of abstract art through lectures, discussion, critiques, and by creating abstract art themselves.

The fee for the six-week session is $240. Enrollment is limited to five to six students. For more information, contact Levesque at 203-654-0533 or
