Devin Carney has done a wonderful job serving as our State Representative. I have worked with him on issues that affect Westbrook and he always has our best interests in mind. He has always stood up for us to preserve our quality of life.

As a Selectman, I know that I can pick up the phone and call Devin when the town is monitoring legislation that could impact us. Devin’s perspective is to keep local control whenever possible and to avoid large and costly state mandates. Each legislative session, there are new mandates proposed, and we need strong legislators like Devin, who provide a small-town perspective and can effectively communicate our concerns.

As a small business owner, I know I can rely on Devin to do what’s right for our economy. He knows that new regulations and fees can negatively affect one’s ability to run a business successfully and predictably. We deserve fiscally responsible voices in Hartford, and that is what we get with him.

Devin has a proven record of working hard for us. He truly understands the values of Westbrook and the rest of the 23rd District, and I urge everyone to vote for him this November.
