I am writing to support Jane Wisialowski for State Representative for the 23rd House District. I first met Jane in 2018 when I was running for State Representative. Jane joined me as a volunteer and walked a lot of streets and knocked on many doors. I remember that one of her big motivations to get involved was her belief in protecting women’s access to and individual choice for reproductive rights. Jane is stepping forward again because of the risks posed to these individual personal rights.

I believe Jane will excel as a state representative. In this role, she will need to find a balance for the input of all of the citizens she will represent. As a valuable member of the Old Saybrook Board of Education, Jane has demonstrated her ability to take in multiple perspectives and pursue a strategic outcome.

But quite simply, I like Jane. She is easy to talk to, intelligent, and empathetic. She is reasonable and practical, and I believe she will be an excellent voice for our district in Hartford at the state capitol. Please join me on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in electing Jane as our State Representative.
