Need Qualified Candidates

In Old Saybrook the right to continue having timely and responsible voting is on the ballot. Why, you ask? Both political parties will be electing a new Registrar of Voters. These individuals will jointly hold the process of voting to the high professional standards we expect and deserve.

Registrars are sworn elected officials who make sure our elections are run fairly according to Connecticut election laws. What do they do? Voter registration lists and equipment must be maintained. Poll workers must be trained. New voters need to register no matter what affiliation they choose. Registrars are responsible for these tasks.
