Thanks to Aaron Rubin for highlighting Eric Gale’s performance on Feb. 25 at The Kate (“Hendrix Looms Large at Kate Show," March 7). I was there as well. Every word of Aaron’s description of Eric’s incredible playing and showmanship was bang-on true, which is why guitar gods such as Eric Clapton and Joe Bonamassa rate Eric Gales as one of the world’s greatest guitar players. Gale’s virtuosity is even a greater achievement, considering he spent years battling and recovering from addictions.
