Make Treatment More Accessible

The proposed new clinic, which would offer methadone treatment, would make life easier for a lot of people. Addicts find it hard enough to get off drugs—bringing the treatment closer might help some stay clean. I have a friend in Madison who has to drive her son all the way to New Haven at 6 a.m. every morning. It would be easier to come to Guilford.

There are so many people with addiction problems —anything that can be done to make treatment more accessible should be done.
