The Guilford Meals on Wheels program would like to thank Guilford Social Services Director Donna Falcone and Program Coordinator Kristin Jones for partnering with our organization to prepare over 25 Blizzard Boxes for our clients. These are boxes of staple food items for our clients to have on hand in case of a weather emergency. We would also like to thank Janice Ward, a Guilford Food Bank volunteer, for coordinating the contents of the boxes and Jill and Carl Bergquist for the speedy delivery of the boxes. One senior was quoted as saying, “Seniors are fortunate to live in this town; we really get taken care of so well.”
