Will Bring a Fresh Perspective

Board of Education members are a key component in the Branford Public School system. Over the years, Judy Barron has been extremely involved in our community. She is the executive director of our Community Dining Room, which has helped shape her great leadership skills, and in the past, she was the senior center program director. Because of her professional career, she has developed a rapport within the community and is an effective communicator, which will help give her a voice on the Board of Education if elected.

She has been on many boards and commissions within the town, including but not limited to a vice chair at the Orchard House Adult Day Care Center, a Branford Festival Committee member, a board member at the Women and Family Life Center, and a board member at R Kids Family Center. She also spends endless hours volunteering in the community as a coach/treasurer/president/fundraiser for Branford girls' softball, girls' fall ball, Branford Youth Cheerleading, and CT Special Olympics Softball.

Judy has experience with the Branford Public Education System as she has had two children go through it; this is a positive attribute because she knows how important education is to our community and children.

She has demonstrated success in her career and has exceptional relationships with other leaders in the community. Her experience building effective collaborations across the community would be an asset to the Board of Education.

Judy Barron is an amazing person who will bring a fresh perspective to the board and can use her skill set and personality effectively.
