Thank You, Old Saybrook

On behalf of the Goodwin Elementary School PTA, we extend our deepest gratitude to the wonderful individuals and businesses in our Old Saybrook community who made our recent Truck or Treat event on Oct. 15 an incredible success. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the high school student volunteers, the local businesses that generously sponsored our event, and those who donated raffle items.

We want to express our profound gratitude to our platinum sponsor, New England Rendokan, whose support was instrumental in making this event possible. Their generosity allowed us to create a memorable experience for our community.

Our event, which aimed to bring joy and togetherness to our community, would not have been possible without these remarkable volunteers and sponsors. The dedication of the high school and middle school students who offered their time and energy was inspiring and appreciated.

The local businesses that sponsored the event and contributed raffle items not only demonstrated their commitment to our community but also played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s success. Their generosity allowed us to raise much-needed funds for our school, which will directly benefit the education and well-being of our students.

An extra special thank you goes to Billy Claffey, Todd Way, Matt Hoadley, and the Old Saybrook Public Works Department for not only recruiting trucks for us but also for the use of their trailer for our hayride, which was a big hit and made a memorable experience for all.

The Old Saybrook community has once again proven its unwavering support for our school and its children. We reached out to our community, and they responded with open hearts and open hands. Moments like these make us proud to be a part of this remarkable town.

Thank you, Old Saybrook, for everything you’ve done for our children.
