Carol has the experience with grant writing, budgeting, people management, and the belief in our great community to be the steward of the town and its people. She doesn't shy away from difficult issues. Carol listens to everyone; she is intelligent, compassionate, and no one works as hard as she does for the town.
When the town needed someone to step up to protect boundaries in town lands, Carol was there. When the town needed someone to set up activities to bring it together as a community, as Park and Recreation director, Carol was there.
When one of our neighbors needs emergency assistance, as secretary of the Community Health Committee, Carol is there.
In so many ways, Carol Jones works for Deep River, and I encourage you to join me in casting your vote for her to be our first selectwoman in the upcoming election!
