For the Benefit of All of Branford

I will be voting for Democratic candidate Kurt M. Schwanfelder for treasurer of Branford, and I hope that you will be, too.

Mr. Schwanfelder, to humbly put it, has an abundance of experience in dealing with town finances. And, he has served Branford in countless other endeavors, whereby he has strongly promoted bipartisanship efforts, putting sound policies ahead of rancor on every side.

Mr. Schwanfelder will unquestionably work to bring balance to the finances of Branford. Spending has increased sharply over the past several years, and Branford’s taxes, albeit partly necessary due to higher town costs from inflation, have unfortunately been intensifying.

Mr. Schwanfelder can hopefully counteract this trend, helping to condense any unnecessary taxes and spending for a town that is traditionally more appealing, tax-wise, than its neighbors. Additionally, Mr. Schwanfelder has my confidence that he will support our teachers’ pension funds with fresh ideas for economic development while staying well within budget.

We should feel privileged that this gentleman is running again. His skills, from experience, are preparatory to managing unexpected financial events. To your readers: please consider this kind, intelligent, experienced, and dedicated individual, Kurt Schwanfelder, for treasurer come November for the benefit of all of Branford.
