Deserves a Second Glance

There’s one candidate in the race for Board of Education that deserves a second glance from voters because he has 25 years of experience as a public school teacher. Jack Cardello is this candidate and currently teaches at the Sound School. Jack’s experience inside public schools will be invaluable in the coming search to replace the venerable Jan Perruccio (if such a thing can be done).

As a coach at the High School, I trust Jack to look out for parents' and students’ behalf. Jack has a vested interest in the Old Saybrook Public School system: a daughter at the high school. Jack is exactly the kind of candidate we need on the Board of Education, as I know him to be thoughtful, bright, and respectful. He’s a remarkable father and has shown himself to be a good friend.

There are many excellent candidates in the race this year, but none match what Jack can bring to the Board of Education. I hope you’ll join me in casting your ballot for Jack Cardello.
