Over the last four years, Madison’s Town Government has been reinvigorated with new energy and ideas, leading to countless accomplishments and successes for our community.

We have witnessed thoughtful strategic planning for the future, heightened investment in public infrastructure, increased excellence in our renowned schools, improved working relationships with state/federal governments, strong town finances, new citizen-driven policy initiatives, success at winning state/federal grants, and a booming real estate market. Projects old and new were systematically completed effectively and efficiently.

Did all of this happen by chance? This modernized town government has been delivered by a strong, wise, and effective leader. Peggy Lyons gets things done! And in the challenging national political climate of the moment, Peggy has been extraordinarily effective in forging bi-partisan consensus here at the local level.

A leader is someone who inspires and motivates followers. A leader is someone who develops a vision and a clear path to realizing it. A leader is someone who ensures their team has support and tools to achieve their goals.

A good leader might be one of these, but a great leader is all three….Peggy!
