Believes in Transparency and Accountability

I am writing to support Nancy Barrett for reelection to the North Haven Board of Finance (BOF). Nancy has done an excellent job over the past four years to provide the best town services at the lowest possible cost to the taxpayers.

Nancy and her husband, Dr. Sean Barrett, moved to North Haven 29 years ago and raised three children who all attended North Haven Schools. As former collegiate athletes, Nancy and Sean were dedicated parents and coaches in many North Haven youth programs, including baseball, soccer, basketball, and hockey.

In 2015, Nancy was a founding member of Team 4 Education, a group of parents dedicated to supporting the North Haven School District. Under Nancy's leadership, this group was instrumental in helping to bring Wi-Fi to our four elementary schools.

As a BOF member, however, Nancy reviews all town and education budget requests equally. She never allows special interests to affect her decisions. Nancy's only concern is to serve the best interests of the entire town. She is always prepared at every meeting, and she carefully reviews all the budget data. Nancy firmly believes in transparency and accountability during the budget formulation process.

Nancy is a Princeton graduate with an MBA from Northwestern. She is the smartest person I know. We need Nancy on the North Haven Board of Finance to watch our tax dollars.
