10/18/2023 08:00 AMI am writing to express my support for the candidacies of Susan Dahill and Donna Lasch to represent the 7th District on the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) —Pine Orchard and Hotchkiss Grove.
In the last election, I had the opportunity to get to know both these women as we worked together to elect Democratic candidates - including my brother, Chuck, our new Probate Judge.
Donna has been representing us in the seventh for a number of years. She’s the personification of what we’re all looking for in a local elected official—someone who doesn’t seek the limelight but quietly and effectively works for her constituents. She has the people skills to work with everybody.
Susan has been a hardworking, committed volunteer in every community she has lived in. She and her husband, Bob, are long-time residents of Pine Orchard and have raised two happy, successful young adults. She is a thoughtful person with a great sense of humor (something we could use a lot more of).
Both women know their community well. They can be relied upon to take the work of the RTM seriously, to look out for the interests of their constituents, and to engage in the important work of caring for Branford’s present and future.
Both Susan and Donna will serve the voters in the 7th District with professionalism and dedication.
I urge my fellow voters in the seventh to support their candidacies.
