Smart, Truthful, Reliable

I would like to take a moment to tell you about a candidate for Town Council, who also happens to be my husband, Brian Roccapriore. Brian has dedicated his career to helping those who need it. First in the nonprofit world as an executive director and vice president of programs, and then in the field of housing and homelessness at The CT Coalition to End Homelessness. Today, he now continues to work on a national level to coordinate public health and natural disaster response efforts as a contractor to the federal government.

What makes me most proud of Brian is his endless desire to do what's right, not what's popular. I hear it in the words he uses, I see it in his actions at his job, and I feel it in his protection of friends and family. Every day, Brian is intentional and honest with who he is. Not only is he a loving husband and father to our son, Nola, but he has also spent the last 15 years co-parenting our other two children, Rex and Aurora.

Brian has taken this task of running for Town Council just as seriously as anything else he has done in his life. He is smart, truthful, reliable, and refuses to give up on those who need just a little bit extra. We, as a family, are just thrilled to be endorsing Brian for Town Council on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
