An Invaluable Asset

I am writing this letter in support of Shawn Tiernan as a candidate for the Board of Education. I've gotten to know many members of the Tiernan family over the years, as they are long-time Branford residents and involved in their community in so many different ways. Shawn and I are both retirees of the State of Connecticut and have criminal law as our common denominator. I know Shawn to be intelligent, kind, thoughtful, and even-tempered. I was thrilled to hear of his interest in serving on the Board of Education in town. I know he would be an invaluable asset to the Board due to having been both a student in the Branford school system and the father of adult children who were also Branford students. I am happy to support Shaw, and I encourage all Branford residents to do the same.
