A Passionate Cheerleader

I write this letter in support of Carlie Dailey, an active alternate member of the Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) in Chester and now seeking reelection to this position on the Democratic ticket. Carlie is a veteran high school business teacher at Old Saybrook High School, where she prepares students to be financially responsible contributors to their community post-graduation. She also supports young entrepreneurs by providing unique opportunities to learn and practice business skills in a school community.

Carlie is also currently a member of Chester’s Economic Development Committee as its recording secretary and took part in formulating the town’s Affordable Housing Plan in 2022. A passionate cheerleader for the Chester community, Carlie believes in providing local businesses with opportunities for continued growth, celebrating Chester’s history, and working to ensure that town residents can continue to enjoy the quality of life that Chester uniquely offers. I cannot think of a more qualified candidate to serve as an alternate on the PZC than Carlie Dailey.
