Well-Credentialed, Hardworking, and Passionate

I enthusiastically endorse Hank Teskey for the Clinton Town Council. I‘ve known and worked alongside Hank for eight years to make Clinton a better place to live and work. He’s an extremely well-credentialed, hardworking, and passionate stand-up guy.

Hank’s years at Electric Boat provide an extensive knowledge of how Connecticut works (not an easy thing to grasp). He personally knows the local, regional, and state officials and personnel that can help our town. This has been extremely beneficial to the Economic Development Commission (EDC) and Clinton. He is a driving force behind the EDC’s recent revival as a vital and effective asset.

Being both a lawyer and a CPA, Hank has the professional experience, discipline, and perspective necessary to improve successful economic development, and his love of Clinton ensures that how we grow doesn’t negatively impact our town’s aesthetics or culture.

Regarding politics (the bane of any town board or commission), he’s the most non-partisan person I’ve ever met. There is no “aisle” for him to cross—for Hank, it is just “one big room” of Clinton residents and businesses. He has no hidden agendas; honestly, I’ve never heard Hank talk down to trash or badmouth anyone…ever. That’s kind of refreshing, isn’t it?. It’s a big reason he can get so much accomplished in any environment with any group of folks.

But perhaps the most impressive attribute is Hank’s seemingly unlimited energy and unwavering commitment to act and execute a project. We’re awash in “ideas and plans” here: committees, meetings, and studies; a lot of “motion” but not much achievement. We need more “doers.” Hank is a doer, a master at getting things done…something Clinton desperately needs now. I urge you to vote for Hank Teskey to keep his seat on the Clinton Town Council.
