A Win for North Haven Students

I am writing to encourage democrats to vote for Frederick Rodriguez for the North Haven Board of Education in the primary election on Tuesday, Sept. 12. He has an impressive 17 years of experience in education, ranging from research and information technology to operational roles. Frederick is deeply passionate about teaching and currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of New Haven. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and master’s degrees in both technology management and cybersecurity policy and compliance.

Frederick and his family have lived in North Haven for 13 years. He is active in the Ridge Road PTA, where his son and daughter attend. He has served on diversity committees and is the vice-chair of the Democratic Town Committee. Frederick cares deeply about education issues and is committed to improving education both inside and outside the classroom. He feels that using data to analyze student outcomes can lead to more effective use of educational dollars to close the COVID-19 learning gap. Frederick hopes to guide the district with transparent technology, education, and inclusion policies. He’s a win for the North Haven students.
