Thanks for the Generosity

The Food Pantry of North Branford (FPNB) would like to thank the North Branford community for their generosity in helping to provide food to town residents. Our goal is to provide free supplemental food to those who are facing food insecurities. The FPNB is a nonprofit organization that allows our guests to shop on a weekly basis free of charge. The FPNB is not a town agency and is staffed completely by dedicated volunteers. We do not receive town or government funding. We are dependent upon the donations and assistance from our community members. One hundred percent of all donations are used solely for the pantry. Operational costs average approximately $10,000 per year. We receive donations from charitable organizations and occasional grants when offered. We are not handicapped-accessible, and despite our best efforts, we have not been able to secure a handicapped-accessible location. Any assistance from our town or local organizations to secure a viable facility is greatly appreciated.

Shopping is available on Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m., and on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations are also accepted during these times. There is a short registration form that is devoid of financial qualifications. Out-of-town residents are also welcome. Guests bring their own reusable bags or boxes. We are located at 1382 Middletown Ave in the basement of St. Andrews Church, Northford. Our phone number is 203-208-2581.

Please call us if you are interested in volunteering or making a donation. We accept cash, checks, gift cards to local grocery stores, and food. We are in need of the following items: cereal, pasta, bottled juice, boxed baking mixes, canned fruit, and rice. We truly appreciate all of you who have supported us in some way.
