Benefited From His Hard Work

As a Clinton resident, the town budget determines the property taxes we will pay. The Town Council is charged with ensuring that the budget provides for an excellent set of government services (particularly in the town schools) while at the same time ensuring that there is no unnecessary spending.

This year, I applaud Hank Teskey, a new Democrat Town Council member. Mr. Teskey showed he was willing to dive deeply into the numbers, challenge school and town officials, and get the best deal for Clinton. I know it could not have been easy for Mr. Teskey, but I feel like everyone in Clinton has benefited from his hard work.
