On Nov. 11, 2022 (Veterans Day), I was a recipient of your Veterans Appreciation Day ceremony and tribute; it was outstanding. Your food preparation was right on, the band and glee club were magnificent, but most of all, the entrance into the hall was most humbling. I will never forget those minutes with everyone standing and the applause, and I know, speaking for military personnel accompanying me, this was a special tribute to all veterans. The after-exercise sitting with the students and answering questions was most enjoyable, to say the least. I can only hope and pray that we were instrumental in their young lives for the future of considering a military career. Again, a big thank you and a job well done, “Branford High School: Rocks.”
