So Much Gratitude

We have so much gratitude for those who help our mission of "Neighbor Helping Neighbor." Guilford Interfaith Volunteers, home to Meals on Wheels, Charlie's Closet, and Friendly Visiting, would like to thank Erin Schuster of Shoreline CT Yoga & Wellness for hosting a wonderful yoga class to benefit Meals on Wheels.

We would also like to thank Guilford Park and Recreation for hosting the event at the Community Center. We would also like to thank Bishop's Orchards for allowing our organization to benefit from the "Round Up" program in December and all the customers who rounded up to support us.

Lastly, we have recently sent out close to 5"Blizzard Boxes." These are boxes of staple food items if an emergency arises. We collaborated with the Guilford Food Bank to fill these boxes for the seniors who requested them. We thank Kristen Jones and Ann Marie Gunn of the Guilford Food Bank for supporting this effort for the second year in a row. We also thank Janice Ward for heading up the effort to fill the boxes, Guilford Lakes School for decorating the boxes, and Jacob Schessel, Chase Tibere, Sam Mackowiak, and Matt Penna for finishing up the decorating and hand-delivering the boxes throughout the month of January. We thank you all so very much.
