Church Leaders Should Read Scripture

The First Congregational Church of Madison, the postcard of Madison and one of the best for outreach to the community, stopped in to host a Drag Queen performance on Jan. 28, benefiting their youth services efforts. Evidently, they don't care how they influence or confuse the youth watching drag queen performances of men dressing like women at an age when many are just forming their sexuality. Or their own members. Entertaining to some, these shows normally are put on at carnivals, cabarets, and nightclubs, not churches. Since when did they become mainstream and Biblical-related? In the future, church leaders should read Romans II of scripture prior to advancing these kinds of programs. Lastly, what would Rev. Dr. Franklin Bower think?
