In Case You Missed It

On Oct. 28, No Left Turn in Education Guilford put on a video presentation entitled “Just the Facts: School Safety and Parental Rights” at the Guilford Community Center. In case you missed it, you can watch both the parental rights and school safety videos on YouTube by visiting youtube.com and searching for Guilford Connecticut Parental Rights and/or Guilford Connecticut School Safety. Both are shocking and worth watching for anyone concerned about parental rights and safety in Guilford Public Schools (GPS).

The parental rights video begins by examining Ibram Kendi, the author of How to Be an Antiracist and the acknowledged face of Critical Race Theory (CRT) in America today. It depicts how Guilford Superintendent of Schools Paul Freeman is a Kendi disciple who has modeled his equity and social justice initiative using the tenets of Kendi’s “antiracist” philosophy. The video goes on to show video clips from Guilford Board of Education (BOE) meetings, excerpts from GPS consultant websites, interviews with the authors of books that Freeman bought for school administrators and teachers, clips from GPS publications, and quotes from American Association of School Administrators (AASA), National Education Association (NEA), Connecticut Education Association (CEA), and Guilford Education Association (GEA) communications.

It concludes with a video showing how CRT was introduced by Marxist educators to indoctrinate our children into believing that America is systemically and institutionally racist and that all the foundations that built this great nation need to be dismantled and replaced. That Social Emotional Learning (SEL), which promotes systemic change through data collection and the psychological manipulation of children disguised as mental health, is the main delivery system of CRT. And that culturally responsive teaching is the teaching method employed by teachers who believe in CRT.
