Thoughtful and Dynamic Delegation

Madison residents have been well-served by our exceptionally thoughtful and dynamic delegation to the State Legislature. Christine Cohen and John-Michael Parker have distinguished themselves with their passion, work ethic, and keen attention to the issues which are important to this district.

Their leadership is evidenced in their capacity to translate vision into reality. Their character is evidenced by their integrity and moral strength. Christine and John-Michael have been exemplars of vigorously pursuing the issues of our concern, and tirelessly working to make things happen. Their legislative achievements are well-documented. Their ongoing visibility and outspokenness provide us with the assurance that our wishes and voices are influencing public policy at the Capitol.

With any issue or question I’ve had, Christine and John-Michael have been prompt and extremely knowledgeable about navigating state departments and resources. While the state legislature is technically a part-time position, these two are full-time fixtures in our community. They are constantly meeting with small business owners, educators, farmers, local government, nonprofits and so much more. And not only are they accessible, they are effective. Together, they have secured millions in state funding for Madison — $770,000 to replace the seawall at Garvan Point, $4 million for a new community center and $150,000 for our local American Legion Post.

Madison needs leaders like Christine Cohen and John-Michael Parker who will listen to the community, bring our interests to the Capitol and return home with results. This Tuesday, Nov. 8, let’s vote to re-elect Christine and John-Michael.

They have earned our respect, our trust, and our vote.
