Do You Approve?

What if students were threatened in school – by a toxic curriculum? What if students were being indoctrinated into an ideology that parents had not approved? What if this ideology had created a racism that deliberately turned students against one another, and certain students were attacked verbally, emotionally, and physically? What if your children were among those targeted?

There is a toxic curriculum: CRT, Culturally Responsive Teaching, or–as now titled–the Equity and Social Justice Initiative. CRT’s dangerous tenets are disguised. This website www.noleftturnguilford.org/words.htm lists innocuous terms that hide CRT.

The anointed expert on CRT is Ibram Kendi, who has said that CRT is the “foundation of [his] work.” His book How to Be an Antiracist contains surprising statements: “Racism itself is institutional, structural, and systemic.” — “The only remedy [for] past discrimination is present discrimination.”

Superintendent Freeman and Board of Education (BOE) members have paid two advisers to begin this initiative. Dr. Sharon Locke of ACES has declared publicly that her model is “straightly aligned with Dr. Kendi’s [book]…[and] “should infiltrate [sic] everything we do in schools…” Dr. Donald Siler of the University of St. Joseph “focuses on … culturally sustainable pedagogy and supporting youth of color in schools.”

Dr. Freeman and BOE members are pleased with their Initiative and insist that CRT “is not being taught.” However, CRT tenets are embedded in every subject and govern every student interaction.

Given another two years, Freeman and the BOE will have destroyed a once wholesome, traditional school system with excellent ratings. They write glowing reports for the newspapers. Nonetheless, GPS ratings have fallen dramatically.

Is a CRT-laced curriculum what parents expect when they enroll their children in school? Do you approve of this? If not, defeat this now.
