Commitment to Business

I think we all know State Senator Christine Cohen as not only a parent and former school board member but also as a business person who owns Cohen’s Bagels.

Christine’s commitment to Connecticut businesses — especially small businesses — can be seen every day in her work in Hartford. She is vice-chair of the Commerce Committee. She helped form the state Bioscience Caucus to bring even more good-paying, high-tech jobs to our region’s growing biotechnology industry. When local restaurants were withering under COVID, she even passed a law allowing for outdoor dining, which remains incredibly popular.

Christine continuously invests in our small businesses, and I would expect nothing less from a woman who runs one of her own. That’s just one of the many reasons why I’m voting to re-elect state Senator Christine Cohen this November!
