Continue to Be Strong Voices

It is election season again and here on the shoreline we have the opportunity to help keep Connecticut a blue state. We can do so by voting to re-elect our two Democratic incumbents State Senator Christine Cohen and State Representative John-Michael Parker. These dedicated public servants will continue to protect voters’ legal rights, preserve women’s choice in reproductive healthcare, advocate for common sense gun legislation, encourage the development of renewable energy, promote environmental protections and coastal resiliency, and work to mitigate the effects of climate change and sea level rise. Importantly, they will continue to be strong voices against political extremism.

As active members and leaders in the state legislature, Christine and John-Michael worked to support small businesses, gradually reduce some taxes, balance the state budget, pay down the state debt, and fund the state employee retirement fund. Together, working with Governor Ned Lamont, they facilitated the allocation of over $5 million in state grants to Madison. Truly a remarkable record.

Let’s vote to keep our talented state representatives in office.
