A Good Team to Get Things Done

It’s probably no surprise that I’m casting my ballot for Moira Rader and Christine Cohen, but I want to tell you why.

For the last four years, I have had the privilege of working side-by-side with Christine Cohen on behalf of our shared districts. She had been my friend and neighbor but, once elected, she became the best partner I could ask for when it came to getting things done for this community.

In just a few short years, I’ve seen Christine become a true and widely respected leader at the Capitol. Whether it’s passing enormously consequential legislation as chair of the Environment Committee or bringing the important perspective of a small business owner, she makes a positive difference for this district and Connecticut every day. In these challenging times, we need her back in Hartford and working for us now more than ever.

As a Guilford resident and as the person who currently holds the job, it’s really important to me that our next state representative be someone who can be effective on day one on behalf of the constituents who have meant so much to me and continue the work that has meant so much to me these last nearly eight years. Moira Rader is that person, and I know she will do a great job representing Guilford and parts of Branford.

Politicians want you to believe that they alone are the reason anything happens but eight years at the Capitol taught me that it takes a good team to get things done. Moira and Christine are the team Guilford needs and I hope you’ll join me in supporting them on Tuesday, Nov. 8!
