People Above Politics

As he has served District 23 since 2015, Devin Carney has shown that he puts people above politics and can work across the aisle, something that seems missing in much of today’s politics. Putting belief into action, Devin is a co-chair of the Connecticut Chapter of the Millennial Action Project, activating young leaders across the nation to bridge the partisan divides and transform American politics. He has been named a board member of the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators, a nonpartisan group whose focus is conservation and issues related. Devon has worked to improve the availability of mental and behavioral health and substance disorder treatment for children, and opposes higher taxes for seniors, families, and businesses. I have witnessed too many people who have left this state because they can’t afford the high taxes, people who have lived here their whole lives. He is for families, he is for quality education, he is for affordable housing, he is for small businesses, he is for a better Connecticut. I have confidence in Devin to do a good job for the people of this district and support his re-election to a job he understands and has done reliably.
