10/19/2022 08:00 AMDistrict 2 of East Haven is now part of the 12th State Senate district, which is represented by Senator Christine Cohen. This is very good news for East Haven to have her as our State Representative working in the Hartford.
She is a hard worker, a good listener, and wants to represent the changes to better our state and the towns she represents. Christine does an amazing job at fundraiser for towns she represents. An example would be the beautiful new community center in Branford. She will be a great asset to our town in this regard.
Christine created and co-chairs on the Coastal Caucus, a bipartisan group of lawmakers focusing on issues affecting our shorelines and waterways. She also uses the private-sector business experiences she gained while working at Fortune 100 companies to put to use as a Senator to promote Connecticut's robust life sciences and biotech industries. This helps our town, provides job opportunities, and general growth to our economy.
East Haven will be lucky to have Christine Cohen as our State Senator in the 12th State District working towards an improving East Haven. Please take time to learn about Christine and vote for her to represent us as our State Senator!
