A Plan to Do It

Climate change is an issue that needs to addressed as a factor in our recent extreme weather events, warming temperatures, and rising sea levels. As a shoreline community, we need to elect leaders who will approach this issue in a scientific and unbiased manner. For Branford, that candidate is State Senator Christine Cohen.

Christine Cohen, as Senate chair of the State Environmental Committee, has created the Coastal Caucus to protect our shoreline and bolstered coastal resiliency funds to ensure municipalities have the resources to mitigate the effects of sea level rise. Christine knows that we need a comprehensive approach to this challenge, and she has a plan to do it.

We are so fortunate to live in a vibrant coastal area like Branford. We need to elect leaders who will work to protect our shorelines against the threats of both natural and man-made climate change. Vote for Christine Cohen to help retain the beautiful Connecticut coastline for generations to come.
