Appreciate Her Hard Work

At a time when everyone is complaining about the price of things, I hope we can all take a minute to stop and think about something that doesn’t always get a lot of credit but which makes a big difference in our lives: state legislators getting state and federal money for local projects.

State Senator Christine Cohen has literally brought millions of dollars back from Hartford and into our towns for things like a new community center and improvements to the American Legion Post right here in Madison, as well as a new police station, library renovations, seawall repair, pedestrian safety improvements, and more across her district. So often these little things pass us by as just construction sites or orange barrels until the work is done and we get to enjoy some modern new amenities—while only paying pennies on the dollar in local funds.

I just want Senator Cohen to know that I recognize and appreciate her hard work of funding improvements in our communities, and I will be happy to vote for her again this November.
