Add Some Clarity

I wanted to add some clarity as to the actual size of the Eagle View condos being constructed at 405 Whitfield Street. The footprint of each of the three buildings is 5,962 square feet. On that footprint is a two-car garage on the ground level and four floors of living area. Each of the units is approximately 4,000 square feet. The actual size of each of the buildings would be 16,000 to 18,000 square feet by my calculation.

At the July meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC), the applicant modified the plan and combined two units into a single larger unit. There will now be 11 proposed units in lieu of the original 12.

Guilford Town Planner Jamie Stein is reviewing the approvals of the PZC to determine if any modifications or clarifications need to be made to ensure full transparency to the public.
