A Demonstrated and Proven Track Record

I so look forward to casting my vote for Christine Cohen on Tuesday. Nov. 8. An ardent supporter of the environment, women’s rights, and small businesses, Christine has a demonstrated and proven track record of using her voice and vote to champion these issues during her four-year tenure as the State Senator for District 12.

Moreover, Christine really listens. As a clinical social worker, I am an advocate for the fair and respectful treatment of Connecticut’s vulnerable populations. She has given me her ear on multiple occasions to discuss policy concerns impacting these populations. When unfamiliar with the details of an issue, she has followed up with her own research in order to come to an informed and thoughtful decision on a matter.

We’ve not always agreed. But her ability to have civil, factual, and informed discourse is not only refreshing but essential in a time when partial truths and fraudulent claims morph into our culture as supposed reality. I know that I can count on her to be honest and genuine.

I hope you will join me in re-electing Christine Cohen to the Connecticut Senate.
