Continually Impressed

I am going to vote for Christine Cohen for State Senate from the 12th District. I have been fortunate enough to know Christine for over 15 years as a result of all of the work that she has done for our community. I am continually impressed with her work ethic and positive approach to problem solving.

Among her many accomplishments as a Senator, Christine has been the Chair of the Environment Committee. As such, she worked to pass an update to Connecticut’s Bottle Bill which helps keep our environment free of plastic bottles. The bill also provides grants to help build redemption centers in urban areas of the state. Christine has also been busy working to contain healthcare costs for Connecticut residents, including expanding family dental and vision coverage to children through their 26th birthday. Along with many of her colleagues, Christine also voted for a $25 cap on out-of-pocket expenses for insulin and other diabetes related medications. These are only some of her many accomplishments.

I urge you all to vote for Christine on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
