Immersed in the Community

I am proud to support Devin Carney in his reelection campaign for State Representative.

Devin ably represents our 23rd congressional district because he’s immersed in the community and has always been able to rise above the divisiveness that characterizes today’s politics. So much so that, in 2021, Devin was awarded The Rising Star Award by the Millennial Action Project, the largest nonpartisan organization of millennial elected officials in the U.S.

The Award recognizes lawmakers who have taken initiative in shepherding bipartisan legislation and have gone above and beyond to build relationships with their colleagues across the aisle.

Devin has worked diligently to find common ground and sponsor policies to make Connecticut a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

I applaud Devin Carney’s emphasis on protecting local municipal control from state mandates, especially in zoning and education. I agree with Devin that the state must become more affordable and attractive to businesses by reducing taxes.

On Tuesday, Nov. 8, let’s re-elect Devin Carney to represent our 23rd Assembly District in the Connecticut State Capitol!
