Thank You

This is a thank-you note to several people:

First, to all those individuals who came to the aid of my elderly friend when I brought her and her caregiver to Saybrook Point for a nice afternoon at the waterfront a week ago. She appears to have recovered after taking a spill, and I thank everyone for helping with first aid, chairs, and pick-up point.

Secondly, to the woman who helped me over all the rocks and stones when I went to the public beach this afternoon for a quick dip in the water. I’m sorry I forgot your name already, but I enjoyed our friendly visit, and I greatly appreciate your strong helping hand as I gingerly made my way to and fro to the sandier part of the water. And yes, I made it to the vet on time!

Last but certainly not least, my thanks to Barry and to Wendy for all their years of service at the tax window at Town Hall. I just learned you had both recently retired, and I am so appreciative of your help, especially to Barry, as I dealt with paying my tax bills and learned to apply for senior help. Kudos to you both.
