In the Democratic primary on Aug. 9 I hope you will join me in supporting Moira Rader to be the next State Representative for the 98th District representing parts of Branford and Guilford. With current State Rep. Sean Scanlon declining to run for re-election in order to seek higher office, Moira is poised to continue Sean’s stellar record of service to our community.

She is the vice-chair of the Guilford Board of Education where she has proven herself as a thoughtful advocate for our children and who can work to strengthen our education system. Additionally, as the highest vote-getter in the hotly contested 2021 election, she also knows how to take on the far-right radical elements of our politics and win the day. Furthermore, her more than 25 years of experience in architecture and design, along with her work as a licensed realtor, gives her the right professional background to succeed at the State Capitol.

Moira will bring progressive, common-sense ideas and solutions to Hartford as our next State Representative and I hope she can count on your support on Aug. 9.
