Highly Qualified and Dedicated

I am writing to express my admiration and support for State Representative Christine Palm (D), who has represented the 36th House District since 2019. The district consists of the towns of Chester, Deep River, Essex, and Haddam, and the Democratic Town committees of all four towns have given her their unanimous endorsement to seek yet another term in November.

Christine has been called the hardest-working legislator in Connecticut, and has in particular been a champion for the rights and opportunities of women and children, the environment, and access to exercising the right to vote. And perhaps her greatest strength is communication. During the pandemic, as a way to keep in touch with her constituents, she established virtual coffee hours, where constituents could meet with her virtually to express ideas and concerns and to have their questions answered. She also sent out very regular and detailed email reports regarding the progress of pending legislation and encouraged constituents to contact her office with any concerns or questions.

I feel very fortunate to be represented by such a highly qualified and dedicated legislator, and will be proud to once again cast my vote for Christine Palm this November.
