A Privilege and an Honor

I would like to take this opportunity to thank your readers for their support during my years as judge of probate. It has truly been a privilege and an honor to serve as probate judge. After 32 years as probate judge, which included 20 years as probate judge for North Branford and 12 years as probate judge for the Branford-North Branford Probate District, I have decided that it is time for me to retire. I will not be seeking re-election during this fall’s election cycle.

Having lived in Branford and North Branford for my entire life, I have come to know a great many of your readers. I have been fortunate to have met many of their families and have always endeavored to provide them with compassion and guidance during some of their most difficult and challenging times.

As I enter the next phase of my life, please know that the impact that residents have had upon me has been immeasurable. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to serve as probate judge.

Frank J. Forgione
