Safe Riding

I write to express my heartfelt thanks to the two women who very kindly helped me after my Dec. 1 bicycle accident on Neck Road, to the Madison Ambulance Association E.R. team who rushed me safely to Yale New Haven Hospital triage, and to the Madison Department of Public Works, which, once alerted to the hazards along this recently designated bike route, took immediate action to remediate below-grade grates.

I encourage all cyclists in Madison, for the safety of all riders, if they see something hazardous to please say something to the appropriate officials. Happy holidays and safe riding in the new year!
