To Effectively Serve

I am John O’Brien and I am running to serve on the Old Saybrook Board of Finance. I previously served on the board from 2005 through 2019. My 40 years of business experience with national corporations as a manager and executive enabled me to effectively serve the taxpayers of Old Saybrook. I collaborated with other board members to yield budgets that met citizen needs, while maintaining control of our low mill rate.

During my tenure, I was always well informed of the town’s projects and needs, stayed engaged in all decisions, and was collegial with members of the board, department heads, and elected officials.

I ask for your readers’ support to vote for me and my fellow Democratic candidates, Bruce Carlson, Lynn Dallas, and Nicole Phaneuf, to ensure that the Board of Finance operates wisely and efficiently for the good of all Old Saybrook citizens.
