I came to Branford in 1985 from Switzerland. What impressed me immediately was the openness, friendliness, and humor. I felt accepted in this wonderful community and I have loved living in Branford and raising our children here.

I’m writing in support of Jamie Cosgrove’s re-election. He is confident and articulate and looks at issues from all sides. Most important, he looks to the future of a healthy and prosperous Branford. To this end, he has shown true dedication to an issue that is dear to me, environmental stewardship.

I know several people on the Clean Energy Committee and I know he is very supportive of their work. Climate change is upon us and Jamie is dedicated to protecting Branford from its worst consequences. Branford has benefited from Jamie’s positive leadership, and I support him in his bid for another term as first selectman.
