Has a Vision

In this crazy world that we live in, it’s not often you come across a person vying for a political office in which you feel the need to put yourself out there on their behalf. After observing this person in action with her years of dedication to the Town of Madison, I felt compelled to support Katie Stein for the Board of Finance.

Katie brings so many things to the community/political table. She a supportive wife and mother of four sons, a caring member of the Madison community and state of Connecticut. Mrs. Stein is an advocate for all. Her actions speak volumes as demonstrated by her profession, a child life specialist at Yale and manager of child life disaster relief. She is fully invested in the betterment of people by carefully listening and thoughtfully putting in action a plan to benefit children, seniors, or whomever shares their story with her.

In her 22 years as a resident in Madison, she served on many committees as a member and many times as chair. Katie’s years of involvement bring a well-rounded range of exposure in the areas of finance (current committee chair), Board of Education (current member and past chair), Capital Improvement Program, Policy Committee (chair), Superintendent Search Committee, and Facilities Committee, plus her involvement in St. Margaret’s religious education program, ABC House, and the Madison Little League Program.

Katie Stein is a team player and advocate for planning, not just for today, but she has a vision that will successfully provide for the betterment of Madison and well into the future because Katie Stein’s heart is in Madison. I encourage your readers to support Katie Stein, Peggy Lyons, and the entire team on Row A.
