I am writing to express my enthusiastic support of Barbara Labriola for treasurer in Old Saybrook. Barbara and I moved into our Knollwood beach community at the same time and became fast friends. As a small business woman myself, I know Barbara understands the importance of maintaining a well run efficient local government to help support and grow our local economy.

For me, Barbara’s platform checks all the boxes for what I’d like to see in our next treasurer: Ensuring transparency on the town’s finances, earning the most possible on the town’s savings, and establishing an excellent working relationship with the town leadership and the Board of Finance.

Barbara is a go-getter with a strong work ethic and is the right person at the right time to keep Saybrook shining. I encourage everyone to vote for Barbara Labriola for treasurer on Nov. 2!
